On March 28, 1937, " Gesellschaft zur Vorbereitung des DeutschenVolkswagens mbH" company was proclaimed its establishment, afterwards changed the name to " Volkswagenwerk GmbH" on September 16, 1938. In 1938 early time, the company had started to build a factory in present Wolfsburg, engaged in the production of new style vehicles which were designed by Ferdinand Porsche. During the World War II period, the productivity of company was used in the armament production. At that time there were approximately 20, 000 forced laborers and prisoners of war, and criminals from concentration camp who were compelled at the factory to work later. In September, 1998, in order to compensate their actions and behaviors, the company had founded a humanitarianism fund by the name of the forced laborers who were compelled to work at the factory during the World War II period. Up to the end of 2001, there are more than 2,050 people in 26 countries have been obtained the humanitarianism aid from this fund. In addition, a memorial hall is under construction in Wolfsburg now, for the purpose of commemorating the forced laborers. Some new staffs in the company are supporting it as volunteers.
BMW
BFW was initiated on March 7, 1916, and has merged the Otto-Werke factory. The BMW group has purchased BFW in 1922, but BMW has been continuing to use the foundation practice of BFW as its original creation age.

The founder of Bentley Automobile was Walter Owen Bentley, who was born in London on September 16, 1888 and captivated byall machines from childhood.When he was 16 years old, his first job was an apprentice in the railroad profession at Great Northern Locomotive Factory which located in North England.In spare time, he was fond of some scooters designs and making, attended positively the small long-distance trial-running competition .Moreover, he obtained the gold medal together with his elder brother in the long-distance competition from London to Edinburgh. Gottlieb Daimler (1834-1900), was a Germanic engineer, inventor, and one of modern automobile industry pioneers. He was born in a handicraftsman family on March 17, 1834, and his father was a bakery shopkeeper. In 1852, he studied in the Stuttgart Engineering College. Daimler’ s strong interest to the gas engine had emerged since his early youth time, and he started to study the development 0f Otto gas engine. In 1872, Daimler had designed the four-stroke engine. In 1883, he cooperated with a good friend named Wilhelm Maybach who was a famous inventor, and succeeded to develop the engine which used gasoline. Furthermore, they installed this engine on the wooden double wheeler in 1885, thus the motorcycle had been invented. In 1886, Daimler tried to install this engine on the carriage which was purchased for his wife on her 43 years old birthday, and then created the first Daimler’s automobile.
